Please Read! Rules @ JC meets! - JDM Chicago-Japanese Car Community

As you know, the site's mission is to promote the cars and scene in Chicago. This is our focus, plain and simple. At the same time, the forum aspect of the site is here to bring the community together. The overall vibe of the forum is chill and we want to keep that same theme at the meets. A few rules @ official JC meets, or bootleg ones:

1. Please avoid revving your engine and give business' a reason to kick us out.

2. Please throw out your trash. Let's be respectful.

3. Cruises are CRUISES. They are not races. We do not advocate races, nor do we want to put anyone's life in jeapordy. We normally have a quick two minute briefing before each cruise to go over the route, directions, etc. Please make yourself available for that.

4. If you are organizing a meet, please take a leadership role and enforce rules 1-3!

That's it guys! I wanted to post this up so ppl know what we are about. We want to reassure ppl that we do everything in our power to make our events safe and fun for all!

^excessive speeding is discouraged and trying to see how your car pulls aginst the guy next to you would be considered racing. Comon sense rules. If you have to ask if it is OK, to do, then chances are it is not.

I went back to Nana's parking lot around 1:30 to pick up my cousins car and let's just say #2 was not followed!! Place was a pig sty! And that's why places (like Strats, etc.) get stopped, because of all the garbage and jumk on the ground!! C'mon guys

^ :sigh: We can't force anyone to clean up their mess, but hopefully next time people will be more respectful. This is one thing that is very difficult to enforce. I'll talk to Nana's to see if they can assist maybe.
