Automass Round 2 Coverage (Part 1 of 4)

What do you get when some of the heavy hitters of Chicago car scene team up and put on an event? AutoMass. Touge Factory, JDM Chicago, Project X, and ClubFR came together again for Round 2 on September 23rd. These groups transformed a parking lot into a car show/drift event/and food truck extravaganza. FNL Saturdays- Season Finale 9-8-12

Last Saturday marked the last FNL of the year. After about 4 years of hosting these meets, it’s still amazing to see how these meets have grown. We definitely appreciate the support and hope everyone had a good time. Although the meet technically started at 7pm, the lot started filling up around 5ish and we were at full capacity by 7:15pm! We estimated about 1,300 cars or so in attendance, and many more that simply could not get in. I don’t know of too many places that get these kind of consistent numbers for a meet, so be proud Chicago! The craziest thing was rain that hit around 930 which cleared everyone out by 10pm. No one really expected the rain, especially the multiple cars with no wipers!

Mike’s Evo X- 2012 Update

You guys may remember the feature we did last summer of Mike’s EVO X. Well, he came HARD this year with a new set of TE37’s along with a super rare Varis Widebody. There are only a few of these kits worldwide, and this is the only non-shop kit in North America. So essentially… super rare! Mike just got back from Wekeast out in NJ and I’m pretty happy that he (and the car) came back in one piece! We met up earlier today and took a few quick shots in the middle of some harsh sun. More things to come this winter so stay tuned in 2013!

Wekeast Coverage Teaser

Wekfest has come and gone, but we are still sorting through a ton of photos. Since many of our readers have already seen shots posted up on other blogs and sites, we’l try to post some more interesting and unique coverage to keep you guys interested over the next few days.
