Wekfest San Francisco 2012- (Part 5 of 6)

I’m sure everyone has seen most of the cars from Wekfest by this time,  but we’re not done!   Tonight we bring you some additional pics from Young Ko,  aka Blackie Photos.  I’m going to highlight some wheel pics,  as well as detail shots since Young’s coverage typically involves these type of artsy captures.

One of my fav all-time wheels,  Custom set of Work VS-XX’s on an S2k.

The ever-popular Enkei RPF1’s.  No car show is complete with at least 3-4 cars rocking these.  Popular due to it’s simple design and cost
effective pricing.  It’s pretty ridiculous that replicas of these wheels exist. I mean,  how cheap are people going to get?

Doesn’t get better then this.  Classic RS’ and proper fitment on this 964.

Another wheel from my bucket list on this IS.  Work released these “new” S1R versions last year.  These are a two piece wheel, with a newly redesigned center disc.  This is the matte bronze with the matte bronze anodized barrel finish.

Standard Blackie artsy photo of this NSX.

Not gonna lie,  I had to do a double take when I saw this Miata @ Wekfest.   At first I thought it was a 60’s roadster until taking a closer look.  Mazda enthusiasts may be familiar with the Pit Crew front conversion. Along side with the BBS RM wheels,  I think the owner did a fantastic job doing something different here.

Here’s a 350z with VIP Modular wheels.  I’m not sure if it’s the angle of the car,  but something is not right here.  Needs to be lower and the
alignment fixed….  but then again,  maybe the car is bagged and in a semi-erect position?

Classic Racing Hart C2 Wheels.  These were all the rage maybe 10 years ago,  but still look good as opposed to some of their other models
which have not aged well (ie M5’s, etc).

Evo on Gram Lights 57S Pro with the titanium lip.  Maybe the only time a rainbow style finish is acceptable.

I’m not really sure what to do here.  Are are we allowed to help ourselves to these stickers?

Love these CE28’s on this widebody S2k.

The bigger the wing, the better.

Loved the engine bay on this Type R.

THIS is how you TE’s are meant to be-  CONCAVE.  Say NO to flat faced TE37’s
