JDM Chicago on Fox News

This is pretty hilarious and totally random. My friend Mike (aka Evo Mike) was watching the news today, and looks like Fox accidentally switched to the wrong monitor… which happened to be on our facebook page!  Awesome.

2013 Update- Jason’s Bagged BMW E60

I met up with my good friend Jason yesterday morning to snap a few shots of his 535i.  We had an idea to do an early-morning downtown shoot; but as fate would have it, our plans conflicted with the Shamrock Shuffle.  But no biggie, we just improvised and went further north in the city looking for some spots.

You guys may remember this e60 made all sorts of waves last year. In fact, I’ve seen other 5 series BMW’s adopt Jason’s same style after he became e-famous. It’s always flattering when one’s vision is shared by others. (Click here for a 1920×1080 pic of the above shot).

This year Jason decided to give up on the static setup and went with AirRex‘s air suspension system.  Many people don’t know, but Jason lives in the city. As cool as his car was, the ride height was simply not realistic. This eventually led to Jason bottoming out more times then you can count, and damaging his front fenders/Prior Design aero. (Click here for a 1920×1080 pic of the above shot).

It’s not fun driving around constantly worrying if you’re going to be able to clear that speed bump, or make it into your friend’s driveway. So Jason said F*ck it, and went with bags. (Click here for a 1920×1080 pic of the above shot).

I am still amazed how much better the Leon Hardiritt Ordens now sit on the car. Don’t get me wrong, the car looked great last year but now I’m simply speechless. Still a few more things left to do, but glad to see Jason’s stepping up his game for the 2013 season. (Click here for a 1920×1080 pic of the above shot).

Visit to Starroad, Japan- Teaser Shot

Star Road (有限会社 スターロード), is one of the premier vintage restorers/tuner located in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo.  They typically work on the Z and Skyline platform, but take in other cars as well. Although the shop is not well known outside of Japan, we hope to soon change that. I’ve been networking with the owner Shouji recently thanks to the magic of facebook. I asked if he would be cool if we could do a shoot/feature of his shop, and he seemed pretty stoked about the idea. So without any hesitation, we flew out Ethan Caldwell to get the job done! Kidding on flying him out, but stars aligned since he was already in Japan. Here is a quick teaser shot for now of this beautiful s30 on Work Equips 03’s.

SCTV Feature

Congrats to our homie Jon for getting his incredible Ruckus featured on SCTV magazine.  I gave Jon one of my shots with our model Julia Marchese, and it ended up getting included in the feature as well. Congrats to both of you guys!
