LOS GARAGE 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

We met up with Christian from  LOS GARAGE last week to take a few quick snaps of their STI build.  A few people have been inquiring about this car;  so to meet the public’s demand,  a mini-shoot was in order.  Be on the look out for a version 2 shoot as things progress with the build.

This car shows that you don’t need to spend a ton of money to make a car look cool.  Take the front for example-  a 2011+ front facia conversion,  paint matched grill,  and chargespeed lip  are subtle modifications that make this STI stand out.

Carbon side steps really balance out the front lip along with the rear.  Wheels are the everpopular Volk TE37SL’s in 18×9.5 +22.  Props to Sexy Sergey’s House of Wheels for the custom paint.

A touch of aggressiveness brought to you by a Black Top aero hatch spoiler.

BC coilovers do the job for this daily.  Nice attention to detail with the custom Volk flat caps adaptors and cherry blossom red SL decals.

One last shot of the rear and exhuast setup.  Full turbo back with a custom merged twin tip catback.   That’s it for now.. but click below for higher res pics!

Dean’s 2006 Accord Coupe

A few years ago I was browsing through the “readers rides”  section of Honda Tuning and spotted Dean’s Accord. You don’t this generation modified too often,  so of course it grabbed my attention.  Dean’s inspiration came from his cousin’s Mugen’d-out Integra Type -R.  It was a clean and quality build that proved to be a positive influence.  Dean followed suit and also strived to create something that would stand out,  yet be functional as a daily driver.

After much debate,  Dean went with the Accord platform for several reasons. For one,  the car was practical and a great commuter. Secondly,  he wanted to do something different as this car is highly neglected in the import community.

We really like the fitment of the wheels here.   Nothing too crazy or over the top.  SP1’s were originally planned to be outfitted for the Accord,  however,  various circumstances led Dean to change his tune to SSR SP3’s.  There are tons of people across the country with ridiculous fitment/stretch/negative camber;  yet claim their cars are daily drivers.  BULLSHIT.  This is what a true DD looks like.

Everything on the car was carefully researched to ensure they would be of a high quality and have an overall flow.  Dean’s car is pretty much done at this point,  but then again.. we all say that.  Hope you guys enjoyed this mini feature by Matt Magnino.  As usual,  see below for his mod list and for higher res shots.

Autobahn Track Day

Earlier this week several of us decided to hit up Autobahn for a track day.  Special Thanks to Larry and Chris for hooking up the tent and tools.  Enjoy the pics,  and don’t forget to click on each pic for a higher res version!  I apologize if the perspective seems a bit redundant as our shooting areas were limited.

Huey’s Artisan Spirits ISF on HRE 590RS wheels.  Sadly the front bumper was damaged beyond repaid.  Looking forward what Huey has lined up for next season.

Something you don’t see too often- a stunning McLaren MP4-12C.  The MP4-12C features a carbon fibre composite chassis,  and is powered by a mid-mounted McLaren M838T 3.8-litre V8,  twin-turbo engine developing approximately 592 bhp.

Move over McLaren… Godzilla has arrived….

Fairly basic looking BMW e30.   Goes to show you that you can have fun on the track with practically anything.

Here’s my NSX shot by my buddy Larry.  I literally gave him a 2 minute lesson on how to shoot/pan!

Another shot of the McLaren.

Hector’s 350z

Dave’s  2004 NSX from Missouri.  This NSX has a custom twin turbo setup.

Vince’s Audi S5.  Looks great in stock form!

Mark who does alot of our editorial content was tearing up the track with his G35.

Ferrari F430 Scudaria

Another shot by Larry!

Hector’s Z again.

BMW e46 M3 supporting IND.

Subaru BRZ.  Go Pro must be banking because I saw a ton of these being used!

Project X 350z

You guys may remember the dual 350z we featured a few years ago…  Since then,  Neil has sold his Z but Larry’s Z has transformed into a totally different car.  With his shop Project X at his disposal,  he along with the rest of the Project X team have created this fine example of a steet car gone  awry.  Photos courtesy of Sideline Sports Photography.  Click on each photo for a higher resolution image.
